The Porumbacu de Sus – Negoiu Peak (2535 m) is a long and difficult route (≈10-11 hours), marked with a blue triangle, passing through the Negoiu Hut and spectacular alpine areas. It includes steep and technical portions, offering breathtaking views, but requires good physical condition and appropriate equipment.
The route Porumbacu de Sus – Cabana Negoiu is a relatively easy one, ~13 km, with ~900 m difference in level, covered in 2-3.5 hours. It follows a forest road and a path through the forest, passes by the Șerbota waterfall and reaches the hut (1550 m), the starting point to the Făgărașilor ridge.
