“La Moșu” – the property in Porumbacu de Sus is a completely restored barn in 2010 by the craftsmen of the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation (supported by Prince Charles of Great Britain) according to the original techniques and in accordance with the requirements of a sustainable development. Mihai Eminescu Trust is a foundation dedicated to preserving local heritage and reviving villages and communes in Transylvania, one of the most authentic areas in Europe.
With a design that combines tradition with modern facilities, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious living room with open kitchen “La Moșu” can accommodate up to 8 people for extended holidays or a simple weekend. The garden with fruit trees, through which a stream passes, is an ideal place for relaxing in nature but also for outdoor games (badminton, football, ping pong). And the Porumbacu River, where you can swim and sunbathe, is just minutes away.
If you also want breakfast, you can opt for a meal with traditional products or a continental breakfast when booking. You can also rent bikes for hiking and we are at your disposal for any information related to activities in the area.

The cost for renting is 50 lei per day and 80 lei for 2 days.
For evening with friends around the pit fire, you will be able to choose your wine from a selection specially made for you from “ Le Manoir Comtesse du Barry“.

Nestled in the village town of Porumbacu de Sus, La Mosu is a beautiful traditional house with a large garden. We enjoyed our stay with the whole family. The traditional house is beautifully decorated and renovated. The living and kitchen is spacious and large. Upstairs there are 2 open space bedrooms and a bathroom. Everything was perfect! The ping-pong table is a great addition. We had so much fun!
